I am so excited to get to tell you guys about Beautycounter. A couple of years ago, I decided to start looking into the products I was using on my skin. To my own surprise and disappointment, I found out they were loaded with unhealthy and unsafe chemicals. This led me to go on a journey to find a natural, safe and good product. I went through many different face products that claimed to be non-toxic. However, they all made me break out. I don’t really have a sensitive skin so it was disappointing to all of a sudden come across so many issues. Two years ago a friend told me about Beautycounter and I was sold. I love their passion for chasing the highest quality product while still using only safe ingredients. It is also the only company that has a ban of 1,500 chemicals! There are more than 80,000 chemicals in the market today and the US only bans 8 of them. As I looked deeper into product safety, I found out that our skin is our largest organ. Anything you apply to it goes straight into your bloodstream, which is why it is so important to be mindful of the products you use. I often hear people say “well, everything causes cancer these days, so why even care about it?” But my thought is if you can avoid some of those harmful products and keep your family safer, why not? I am passionate about these products because I know they are amazing and I know I am not compromising my health or the health of my family by using them. I started slowly switching my skin care and I now use only Beautycounter for skin care and make up. I love their oils, lip sheers, mascara, foundation. So many good products to choose from!
